We have all experienced a bad day. It could be because you had a hard time at work, or maybe you had a rough day with your kids at home. Whatever the reason is, I think we can all agree bad days suck and make you feel bad.
I have been there. After my second child, I had a hard time transitioning into becoming a stay-at-home mom, and I struggled with postpartum depression. I had many bad days where I felt just plain miserable.
Luckily, I am a lot happier now, and I found some really helpful ways to help turn a bad day around.

5 Ways to Turn a Bad Day Around:
1. Make a cup of coffee or tea
Make a cup of your favorite warm coffee or tea, find a quiet space to sit, and drink it slowly. Take this time to calm down and just focus on drinking your warm drink.
2. Eat a healthy snack
Eat a healthy snack to give your body some good fuel. It is easy to eat junk food (when you are feeling bad), but try to eat something more nutritious instead. Sometimes junk food can make you feel worse, so try to grab some fresh fruit or make a smoothie.
3. Get fresh air
Open your windows and let some fresh air in your home, or go for a walk. I find fresh air and sunlight to be natural mood boosters!
4. Call a friend
Sometimes a nice vent session with a close friend can make a big difference. Call someone you trust and enjoy talking to.
5. Listen to music
Put on your favorite happy songs and vibe. Music is one of my favorite natural mood boosters. Just make sure you play happy feel-good songs and not sad ones.
