One of the first things I did to transform my negative self-talk was to write and read positive affirmations.
I practiced writing and reading positive affirmations at least every other day, and after a while, I started to believe the kind words I told myself. My life has improved so much since I started to love myself, believe in myself, and treat myself with kindness.
Now it has become a habit for me to affirm myself and speak kind words about myself. Negative self-talk has become a foreign language to me. I have become my own best friend and biggest supporter, and I owe it all to positive affirmations.
