This post is all about journaling prompts for kids.
Do you want to encourage your child to start journaling? This post includes 55 fun journal prompts that will get your child writing.
According to Very Well Family, journaling can help children express their emotions, build emotional intelligence, and track their feelings and thoughts. Not only can journaling improve emotional health, but guided journaling (which involves a writing prompt) can help improve written communication, spelling, and reading skills.
I am very big on journaling and encourage my kids to journal at the end of each day. Since they have started journaling, I have noticed a big improvement in how they process and understand their emotions. They have gotten a lot better at expressing their feelings as well. I highly recommend all moms encourage their children to give journaling a try. All you need is a notebook, pencil, and these writing prompts to get started.

My Favorite Guided Journals For Kids:
If you are looking for a good daily guided journal for kids, here are my favorites.
The 3-Minute Gratitude Journal for kids
This is the first journal I bought for my kids. Each page includes a space to write about 3 things you are grateful for, a person who brought you joy, your feelings for the day, and a space to write or draw about your day. This is a great guided journal to get your child in the habit of journaling.
Happy Confident Me Daily Journal
After my kids finished their first guided journal (above), I got them this one, and they LOVE it. Each page includes a space to write how they felt that day, 3 good things that happened, something they are proud of, and something that they like about themselves. It also includes a blank page for them to draw or doodle their thoughts. My 10-year-old really enjoys the quotes and fun facts that are included in this journal.
